Description
We have our own laboratory with devices of the highest class for testing the finished coatings and control of the technology for preliminary preparation and painting. Our Qualicoat and Qualisteelcoat certificates impose extremely high criteria and require hourly inspections of all chemicals and finished parts, as well as impeccable diary keeping. In addition to analyzing and monitoring the production process, the capacity of the laboratory allows the provision of external services.
By the end of 2020, our laboratory has the following equipment for testing and control:

TQC Cross Cut Adhesion Test CC1000 – Device for determining the adhesion of different types of coatings, with 6 blades at a distance of 2 mm. Standards: ASTM D 3002, 3359 BS EN ISO 2409
TQC PolyGloss 20 ° / 60 ° / 85 ° Gloss Meter – Meter for measuring the glossy units of the coating (from 0 to 2000 GU) at 3 different measuring angles. Standards: DIN EN ISO 2813, EN ISO 7668, ASTM D523, DIN 67530, BS3900
Electronic Precious Metal Scale SARTORIUS – Extremely precise electronic scale that measures with an accuracy of 0.001g. Using this scale, we measure the amount of material removed per m² after treatment with acid stain. Standards: BS EN 45501 and OIML Recommendation R76
Fischer DUALSCOPE FMP100 – Device for determining the thickness of the coating. This model allows a complete graphical analysis of the paint distribution on the surface of the part, based on multiple consecutive measurements. Standards: ISO 2178, ASTM D7091 and ISO 2360
TQC Indirect Impact Test – A device for determining the resistance and flexibility of coatings under the impact. Standards: DIN / ISO 6272, ASTM D2794 and ASTM G14
Bode Chemie Incubator – An incubator for special laboratory reagents that maintains a certain environment conducive to the development of bacteria and fungi. With its help we monitor the microflora in the baths.
Device for measuring and controlling various indicators (pH, conductivity, amount of oxygen …) of the chemicals and water used in the preparation of the details for painting.
TQC CURVEX 3 STANDARD OVEN LOGGER – Thermograph, which guarantees the optimal time for heating the part and baking the paint according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
TQC CYLINDRICAL BEND TEST – A device for measuring the elasticity of paint by bending painted plates. Standards: ISO 1519
CamSpec spectrophotometer – a device for determining the concentration of zirconium in the passivation solution
Salt Spray Chamber – Salt spray chamber testing chamber. The process is an accelerated simulation of meteorological conditions during prolonged operation of external conditions.
